Various Activities in INDONESIA NATIONAL GALLERY Throughout the Year 2011
National Gallery of Indonesia as an institution specialized museums and exhibition centers works of modern and contemporary art, which shelter under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism / Tourism and Creative Economy, in 2011, it has been and is being held a variety of art activities, whether conducted directly by the management of the National Gallery of Indonesia as well as through cooperation with other relevant institutions, such as embassies friendly countries, foreign cultural centers, private galleries, associations, foundations, arts councils, cultural parks and other art communities. The scope of activities which include: exhibition (permanent, temporary, itinerant), meeting artists, discussions, workshops, competitions, art performances, aired the video and educational guidance and implement a preservation collection (documentation, conservation, restoration), and the acquisition of new collections .
Throughout the year 2011 has been held not less than 30 events by the number of visitors of around 30,000 people. Various activities in the form of art exhibitions (paintings, graphics, drawing, sculpture installations, ceramics, photography, objects, multimedia, video art, etc.), have been and are being held at the National Gallery of Indonesia building that occupies the spaces in the temporary exhibition buildings A, B and C.
