Procedure for The Use of Temporary Exhibition Building

Send a proposed letter headed to the Director of Indonesia National Gallery.

The letter should be sent at least 6 month before the exhibition schedule,  also attached with:
a. Proposal of exhibition;
b. Curriculum Vitae of artists;
c. Some examples of works (photos).

Every proposed exhibition must have curators and through a curatorial process. Concept of exhibition, artists’ profile, and exhibited works will be discussed in advance by appointed curator team. Considerations are based on:
a. Reputation of artists aand quality of works;
b. In line with vision, activity and program framework of Indonesia National Gallery
c. Technical things that are connected with the condition of Indonesia National Gallery.

The selection result recommends directly accepted, accepted with notes (rescheduling/buildings changing, etc), or denied.

If the proposal is accepted, then the proposed user must send the confirmation of readiness to hold the exhibition and discuss together with Indonesia National Gallery for the Memorandum of Understanding, technical matters, administration, and permission three months before the exhibition.

If there is a cancellation from user, Indonesia National Gallery and its curator team will discuss to reschedule it or if by any chance should be re-processed as the above procedure.

Cancellation by Indonesia National Gallery can only happen in a force majeure situation (outstanding event beyond the control of Indonesia National Gallery).
